The Château de Pierreux is one of the most beautiful estates in the Beaujolais, facing the Mont Brouilly and set at the heart of a landscape that evokes the soul of the Beaujolais in all its glory. The château is surrounded by 77 hectares of Brouilly vineyards, exclusively planted with Gamay. Pierreux, located in Odenas, lies atop limestone soils which are more typical of the Mâconnais region as granite is predominant throughout most of the Beaujolais.

For thousands of years, vines have grown on the hillsides here with their porphyry, schist, stone, and silica-based soils.
This vineyard produces two magnificent wines - Brouilly Château de Pierreux and the Réserve du Château de Pierreux which is only released for exceptional vintages.
