World's best Gamay

Hundreds of Gamays from all over the world competed on January 11th, 2020 in the Concours International du Gamay (International Gamay Competition) in Lyon. More than 800 samples were tasted in this 10th edition of the competition among wines from different countries such as France, Switzerland, Great Britain and Italy and also different vintages. After a first selection, only 25 wines were selected and judged by the 5-members Super Jury who awarded our Saint-Amour Les Grandes Mises 2018 the title of World's Best Gamay.
Arnaud Chambost, sommelier, meilleur ouvrier de France 2000 & member of the competition's super jury decribed our wine as having a

"a shinning garnet/purple colour, a franck nose, with aromas of red fruits gelly and violet, with a very full and fleshy palate"
