Tasting notes

A rare pearl from the vineyard, in its beautiful pale gold and crystalline colour.

The nose is intense on white flowers with light aromas of exotic fruits

The palate is surprising, offering a beautiful minerality and a perfect balance between roundness and liveliness. A very beautiful white Beaujolais!

Serving suggestions

Best served decanted and enjoyed quite cool, between 12° and 14° C. (54-57°F) to discover its elegance and complexity.

Food and wine pairing

Perfect match as an aperitif or throughout a meal with fish, goat cheeses, oysters.

Ageing potential

This Beaujolais is a wine that is designed to be enjoyed in its youth. It can also keep for up to 6 years.

Terroir

The exceptional terroir of Pierres Dorées, the result of one of the richest and most complex geological histories in France, is located between Lyon and Villefranche-sur-Saône.

It offers a unique diversity of soils, the color of the stones of which illuminates even the facades of the houses.

This Beaujolais Blanc comes from the blend of vintages made with 4 partners in the vineyards of Saint-Trys, Alix, Pommiers and Bagnols.

The vines flourish on exclusively clay-limestone terroirs.

Vinification and maturing

The Chardonnay grapes were harvested at full maturity early September.

After pressing, the musts were cold settled before the fermentation began, maintained at low temperature (18-20°C. / 64-68°F.).

Ageing on fine lees for 12 months in stainless steel vats in order to preserve all the aromas and freshness of this Beaujolais Blanc.
